Iqra! (اِقۡرَاۡ) which means ‘Read’ or ‘Recite’; was the very first verse that came to the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. This verse require us to try to know some thing about our creator through mediation, through analysis, experimentation and observation. Islam has always encourage in seeking knowledge; which also considered an act of worship

This blog is a diary of a Muallaf (Muslim convert) in seeking for more knowledge for himself and share them with its reader. The motivation of this website is driven by the following Hadith:

“Abu Huraira r.a reported: Rasulullah s.a.w as saying: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him (for the deceased)”. (Book #013, Hadith Muslim#4005)

I would like to apologize should there be any misleading or misinterpretating information ( this is just part and parcel of learning curve) and hope you could correct me along the way. After all Allah says in Quran:

“وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱلدَّوَآبِّ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ مُخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَٲنُهُ ۥ كَذَٲلِكَۗ إِنَّمَا يَخۡشَى ٱللَّهَ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِ ٱلۡعُلَمَـٰٓؤُاْۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُو”

It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah(Fathir,28)
