Sony Direct Mailer, Bravia Z Series – The Smoothest Picture Ever

Another really cool Direct Mailer from Sony, It’s a comparison between flicker of 200HZ and 50HZ. I must say that Sony Marketing and Advertising team has done a good job in this.

Sony Singapore unveils its new high performance BRAVIA Z series, the latest addition to Sony’s extensive range of BRAVIA Full HD LCD TVs. The world’s first LCD TV with Motionflow 200Hz technology, the BRAVIA Z series allows users to enjoy crystal-clear motion clarity and resolution, even during fast action-packed sports programmes. Additionally, the Z series is equipped with a full suite of exclusive BRAVIA technologies- from the BRAVIA Engine 2 to 24P True Cinema technology, ensuring the best Full HD cinematic entertainment experience for everyone.

Sony’s unique Motionflow technology enables the display of fast image movements with total precision and smoothness by increasing image stability and multiplying the frames to four times per second. With Motionflow 200Hz technology, 150 unique frames are created between each of the existing 50 frames, allowing clearer picture and smoother motion quality resulting in a more comfortable viewing experience.

Fuelled by BRAVIA Engine 2 technology, the improved, fully digital integrated picture-enhancement engine, the Z series reproduces black shades that display objects with an impressive depth of reality. Motionflow 200Hz is the world’s first quadruple speed 200Hz frame rate conversion that helps to improve the clarity of fast-moving objects on screen. It creates three new intermediate images based on the incoming signal and inserts them between the original pictures and thus images are displayed at a rate of 200 fps.

As a result, Motionflow 200Hz offers sharp and smooth reproduction of fast-moving images especially when you’re watching sports programmes.

The concept:  is really simple. This mini direct mailer as 2 sides. One is 200HZ and the other is 50HZ

When you flip the small book it will show you the animated soccer player. In 200HZ it shows there is no flickring at all at the animation where as at 50HZ you can see the white flickering.
