Singapore Lah…

I am sure it is a weird name to some of you who never even heard of the word “Singapore”.

So what is Singapore? Food? Pet’s name? A new brand of MP3 Player?

No.. no.. no…

Singapore is a tiny island and was undeveloped but amazingly over the past few years it has become changed into a developed country. Located at Latitude: 1º22´North of the Equator and longtitude103º48´ East of Greenwich, Singapore is surrounded by two of its Neighbourhood country – Indonesia and Malaysia. Sometimes we quarrel over small issues and also sometimes we unite and help each others. Just like BBG relationship. I would say it’s called love… :)

Temasek is Singapore old name … Also it was once called “Pulau Panjang” ~ from some of the the olden maps

In the 4th century the Chinese called Singapore Po Luo Chung (a direct transliteration of “Pulau Ujong”) which means the “Island at the tip”. Singapore is located at the tip of Malaysia Peninsula. Singapore was called the Malayum (in Tamil) which means the hill town!?? this name also mentioned in some of Marco Polo’s diary

This blog will cover anything about Singapore from architecture, to politics, economy and so on from a entirely different perspective. I think this is the least that I can do for my small country Singapore. (Officially my country in two days time)

This blog will also answer to anybody question who always have this question every weekend: What to do and where to go. I really hope that this blog is not just another buble and ended up as a white elephant…..
